Painting with Paint Shop Pro 7

Beginning Painting for Beginners using the program PSP7
These are classes that I had offered over the course of 7 years at Eclectic Academy (www.eclecticacdemy.com) with the benefit of online webboard support. Unfortunately, these 6 lessons no longer come with unlimited support within the 6 week time frame, however, I do offer the benefit of at least a week of private support from the time of purchase for you to go over these lessons, for you to generate ideas, questions, and feedback and email me at info@armchairpaintclasses.com. If I'm out of town, my email is down etc. or I'm ill, naturally, that time can/will be extended to you :)

This is what these lessons covered.....

Color selection in PSP7

While you won't learn ALL of the tools, you will learn the ones you need to know to paint your painting. Such as how to select a color, how to freehand draw (for mountains as an example), fill an area with color, make a selection etc.

PSP7 tools

More tools you'll need to know....lasso, drop shadows (to add to a roof overhang for example),  mover tool.

Layers are critical in graphics programs. They aren't just used occasionally or even often but constantly and are therefore extremely important to an image. In this week's exercise, you'll learn how to create layers and merge them. Here, a swan was added in this little boy's fishing pond.

Paint Shop Pro Painting of a Pumpkin

Week four, your first painting....and a very simple one to do. Step by step to follow.

Paint Shop Pro 7 Painting

This week you get into the actual first half of the painting using the tools you've learned how to use in the first three weeks, cut and paste, layers, selection etc. As well as using smear, blend and painting tools.
